You don’t see one of these too often in the UK. Trabants came with a whole load of strange and wonderfull special tools of which the drawings for these were publicly available in manuals and so meant you could, in theory, make your own from the technical drawing.

Dissapointing Price for Trabant 1.1 LPG?

I was quite surppised, I thought the recent Ebay sale of the Trabant 1.1 with both petrol and LPG would go for between £1500 and £2000, going by the price of another Trabant just the other week for around £1200 (2 stroke normal Trabant).
But alas, the highly modified car sold for just £640, [...]
