Graham Goodall Appeal Dismissed

Date January 11, 2008

Some would say that Graham Goodall has on his own given Trabants in the UK a bad name, infact the official UK IFA Wartburg Trabant Club has a disclaimer on their website stating they have no links to Mr Goodall.

For anyone who does not know, Mr Goodall lives in the Peak District and has been battling with his village and the Peak District National Park for a number of years now to save his “historical car collection”, or as others see it, “a Trabant scrap yard”. This “fun loving” man has a collection of Trabants ranging throughout the years of production and his collection contains a number of rare examples, it is no doubt the best collection in the UK. The “scrap yard” cannot be seen from the road side, so maybe people are being a bit unfair towards him.

Reported yesterday was that he lost his latest appeal and so still needs to remove the “eyesore”. Anyone interested, he is looking for offers. In the meantime, what will be next in this long running episode?
