Another Trabant engine!

It has been sitting in the workshop up in Norfolk for some time now, but over the weekedn we tied in a school reunion with seeing friends and seeing family.  We popped over to my parent’s house and left with a Trabant engine in the boot.  It’s still there infact, we got home quite late and the thought of carrying an engine out of the car after a 4 hour drive seemed a bit too much.
I know nothing much about this engine, it just came with the car as a spare and it has all the auxiliery atached - so it’s ready to go. I’ll store it in the garage, maybe tidy it up a bit, and I expect then have it as a spare.  I’ve got through two engines in the past and I’m slightly worried why this might be, having a spare is a good idea it seems.
The move of the Trabant from Norfolk to Sussex then is almost complete. Â Just got two wheels to bring down and then that’s it.
